My Breeding Philosophy

I select my Yorkshire Terriers, not only because of their excellent bloodlines but, for the sweet natures they have. My dogs have adorable faces, they are healthy and sturdy as well as smart and even tempered. Having an adorable looking dog is nice, but I breed to add a great temperament to the good looks as well.

 

I have searched globally and spent tens of thousands of dollars on my breeding stock. The Yorkshire Terrier is my passion and I am committed to doing everything humanly possible to breed dogs that have lovely temperaments, are healthy and have excellent conformation all within AKC breed standards. I will stand by my puppy contracts and will provide lifelong guidance and coaching for any Yorkie puppy bred and sold by me to first owners. Therefore, please seek a different breeder if you are not interested in the kind of quality and expertise I provide.

 

Because I am fortunate enough to be able to stay at home, this gives me ample time to play and socialize with my Yorkies. It is my desire that my puppies all go to homes that will love, care, and enjoy them as much as I do. My Yorkies are raised inside my non-smoking home as part of my family. Yorkshire Terriers love being with their families which is why I allow mine to live indoors with me and generally just be a part of my everyday life as much as possible. I will never sell to a puppy mill or pet store and retain the right to refuse any sale I feel isn't a good match.

All of my puppies are AKC Registered and come with a specific puppy contract. All puppies will have had their age appropriate vaccinations and deworming by the time they go to their new homes. I am happy to be a Breeder of Heart through the AKC which means I have met or exceeded all of the requirements for health testing, breeding protocols, and canine care. I have also received the Good Dog Excellent award which is another certifying organization that requires breeders to go through an interview process and prove they uphold proper standards for breeding and canine care.
